Juniors Proudly Representing the Green and Gold at World Championships

More than a dozen Australian athletes are currently competing across Europe at the FIS Junior World Championships in a variety of disciplines.
Moguls
Seven moguls skiers competed at the Junior World Championships at Chiesa in Valmalenco, Italy last week.
In the women’s moguls, Lottie Lodge finished tenth, while Charlotte Wilson (11th) and Indiana Spears (14th) also achieved top 15 results.
Oliver Logan was the best performing male skier in 10th in single moguls, ahead of Mac Livissianos (22nd), Edward Hill (25th) and George Murphy (36th).
In women’s dual moguls, Lodge (15th) and Wilson (17th) both finished in the top 20, while Logan was the best performing male athlete in 22nd.
Charlotte Wilson and Oliver Logan also teamed up for the Mixed Dual Moguls Team event, where they defeat Ukraine in the Round of 16, but were knocked out in the Quarter Finals by Canada.
Ski Cross
Two Australian skiers hit the course at the Ski Cross Junior World Championships in Passo San Pellegrino, Italy.
Jesse Quinn put in a sparkling qualifying performance to be seeded sixth going into the quarter finals, finishing 13th overall in the women’s event.
Duncan Cowan placed 35th in the men’s race.
Quinn and Cowan will join forces for the Ski Cross Mixed Teams event on Tuesday 28 March.

Alpine Snowboard
Mia Chawner was the only Australian athlete competing at the Alpine Snowboard Junior World Championships in Bansko, Bulgaria.
She finished 37th in parallel giant slalom and 38th in parallel slalom.
It was Chawner’s second major event of the season having competed at the World University Games in January.
Snowboard Cross
A team of 12 athletes will be competing for Australia at the Snowboard Cross World Junior Championships at Passo San Pellegrino this week.
The squad will be led by Josie Baff who is fresh from winning the final World Cup race of the season.
Individual racing is scheduled for Thursday before their team event on Friday.

Aerials
Three former gymnasts will fly into the Aerials Junior World Championships this week.
Victorian Institute of Sport skiers Miriana Perkins, Sidney Stephens and Reilly Flanagan are in Obertauern, Austria and will compete on Wednesday.
