NSWIS skier Sami Kennedy-Sim has just missed out on advancing through to the quarter-final stage, finishing third in her eight-final heat at the Ski Cross World Championships at Solitude Mountain, UT, USA.
After qualifying for finals in 14th place, Kennedy-Sim was unable to advance in the top two in her heat, giving her a final ranking of 18th.
Kennedy-Sim commented after the race.
“Not the result I was looking for at World Champs, but I am still smiling. A few days with some of my Ski Cross girls in Salt Lake City before we race in Feldberg, Germany."
The World Cup events in Feldberg will take place on February 15-17.
