The jNats, NSW Junior Mogul Series and SSA Futures Mogul Talent Identification Program (TIP) have all wrapped up a busy weekend for Australian moguls.
Difficult conditions for jNats at Mt Buller
On Saturday, Australia’s best junior freestyle talent was on display at the annual Junior National Mogul Championships.
The 80 athletes in attendance overcame poor visibility to perform on the day, showing great mental toughness to lay down quality performances in the tricky conditions.
Featuring 200m of moguls and two table top jumps, athletes from Mt Buller, Falls Creek and Mt Hotham fought it out for the national title with their associated cash prizes.
Congratulations to the division winners listed below.

Successful Moguls Talent Identification Program
Over a dozen male and female athletes participated in the TIP as part of SSA Futures program after being invited to Perisher off the back of impressive Interschools performances.
NSWIS coordinator and long standing NSWIS, World Cup and Olympic Mogul coach Peter Topalovic and NSWIS team athletes were on hand to guide athletes through sessions on and off the snow.
This program enables SSA to introduce developing athletes to elite sporting opportunities and elite sports people.
In addition, it continues to help bridge the gap between Interschools participation and involvement in seasonal pathway programs, as SSA looks to build on Australia’s continual snowsports success.
The intensive two-day program allowed athletes exposure to a higher-level of training with formalised instruction, while growing numbers involved in the mogul pathway system.
