Mt Buller to host National Interschools Snowsports Championships

Mt Buller will welcome 1700+ students from over 300 schools around the country to compete in the Australian Interschools Snowsports Championships from 4-8 September.

The 5-day event sees the best athletes from schools around Australia skiing, snowboarding and competing in a wide range of snowsport disciplines including Alpine Giant Slalom, Snowboard Giant Slalom, Snowboard Cross, Ski Cross, Moguls, Cross Country Classical, Cross Country Freestyle, Slopestyle Ski and Slopestyle Snowboard.

There is a long and rich history of snowsports and racing at Mt Buller and the resort is buzzing in readiness to host so many passionate skiers and boarders this week.

Athletes will enjoy sunny conditions for the cross country event which kicks off the Championships today, Wednesday 4 September, with a chance of snow showers by the final events on Sunday.
