To finish of the National Alpine Championships week at Thredbo two slalom races were scheduled, but after a bad weather day, both the National SL and Junior SL were held on Thursday.
Madison Hoffman showed some extra speed compared to the other girls to win the Slalom National title by 3.75 seconds, with Lily Tomkinson in 2nd place followed by Jenny Owens.
Lily Tomkinson won the junior title in a nail biter with Zali Offord finishing in 2nd place, only 4 hundreths the difference.

In the men’s Slalom Championship, Bennett Norbury had a stellar day winning the Australian National Title and being the highest placed Australian in both races on the day. His 4th place was just 1.92 sec from the leading skier, Stefano Baruffaldi from Italy. Norbury then placed 5th overall in 2nd race.
In the Junior Men, Warwick Crawford won the title, and was one of a number of standout performances for many of the younger brigade who stepped up a class into FIS races this year. Theo Coates was runner up in the junior and has had a good few weeks, as has Connor Leggett from Thredbo.
