Activities at the National Snowsports Training Centre (NSTC) in Jindabyne are winding down before the summer holidays, while the construction works to upgrade the John Langley Hancock Building continue.
Friday 16 December will see the last NSTC Acro session for the year, with no sessions available during school term 1 as the temporary acrobatic setup will be packed away until the new refurbished facility is ready in the New Year.
The last Community sessions at the NSTC Park will be held on Saturday 17 December, with a morning session between 9.30am-12pm (held on the development bag only) and a second session between 5.30-6pm.
The schedule of activities for the month of January is available on the NSTC Park website, with sessions bookable online. The 10-pack Community Pass will remain available for purchase up until 31 December and will be valid throughout January.
Meanwhile the upgrade of the John Langley Hancock Building is on track to be completed in April, with the installation of the roof currently underway and the cold shell to be installed by the end of January. The laying of the concrete blockwork is continuing, along with the internal framework which is due to commence prior to Christmas.
The NSTC will be closed from Sunday 18 December, 2022 and will reopen on Friday 6 January, 2023. All the NSTC staff would like to wish our members and their families happy holidays as we look forward to seeing you all in 2023 for an exciting year ahead with the opening of our new facilities.
