NSTC Update - September 2024

Published Wed 11 Sep 2024

It has certainly been very busy at the NSTC during recent weeks.  We have had a number of International teams booking both airbag and acro sessions along with continuing our community sessions.  If you have visited the NSTC recently you may have spotted some well-known athletes training at the facility!

Snow Australia was delighted to host major benefactor John Hancock and his family on a recent visit to Jindabyne for their first look at the NSTC which bears his name.  The upgrade to the training facility would not have been possible without the generosity of John Hancock, whose financial contribution to the project provided the balance of funding required to bring the facility to life. Read more about John’s visit and his reaction to the facility.

The safety of all guests, in particular children and young people, attending activities at the NSTC is paramount and we kindly ask that all drivers entering the Sport & Rec precinct follow the 20km/hr speed limit.

Is your toddler ready to bounce into fun?  Visit the NSTC Tiny Tumblers for a fantastic gymnastics and trampoline experience designed just for them! The 45 min classes cater for 3 & 4 year old toddlers where parents participate with their child under coach guidance and work through a variety of sensory based circuits and bouncing time on the trampolines. Classes are held on Wednesday mornings over two sessions at 9.30 & 10.30 am. To book, head to the Acro schedule

Spring School Holiday Acro sessions will be held Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoon during the upcoming October school holidays.  Sessions will run for 2 hours and open to 5 – 16 years age groups.  Keep an eye on the acro website for sessions times and registration links.

Term 4 Acro sessions will be available to book from Friday 27 September. Classes will once again be available to book on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3.45pm.  Adults classes (17+ years) will continue to run on Tuesday evenings from 15 October. Classes can be booked online via the Acro schedule
