NSW Interschools kick off at Perisher

The Subaru NSW Interschools Championships are on this week at Perisher from 21-27 August 2017 and are celebrating their 30th anniversary.
The will host 1,574 students from 183 schools, totalling 3,391 event entries. Adding to the prestige, athletes participating at the NSW Interschools Championships must have qualified from their respective state Regional Championships (NSW/ACT/QLD).
A launch pad for some of Australia’s current elite ski and snowboard athletes, the NSW Interschools Championships offers emerging athletes the opportunity to prove themselves, competing in nine snow sports disciplines for their school to be crowned the NSW Interschools Champion.
Reigning Primary Champions Jindabyne Central School and Secondary Champions Snowy Mountains Grammar will be looking to retain their respective title for the Primary and Secondary divisions in 2017.
