Park & Pipe Community Update - October 2024

Dear Park and Pipe Community,
The turn of September to October was a busy week in the Park and Pipe world with the last leg of the ANCs taking place in Cardrona, New Zealand.
Among those walking away with some big results was 14-year-old Freeskier Indra Brown who took out the win in the Freeski Halfpipe, finishing 1st overall on the Halfpipe ANC standings, and finished the ANCs 6th overall in Slopestyle and Big Air. Indra has stamped herself as one to watch with a productive first taste of FIS competition.
Joining Indra on the podium of events at Cardrona were Cam Waddell, who finished 2nd in the Freeski Big Air and Ally Hickman and Jess McGregor who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Snowboard Big Air competition. Hickman was able to secure the top placed finish to the ANC season in Slopestyle and Big Air with McGregor following suit in second place. Freeskier Kai Martin was able to finish 5th overall in Slopestyle and Big Air despite missing the last leg of the competition due to injury. Congratulations on a huge ANC campaign for all involved and good luck for the upcoming Northern Winter.

Coming up next week will be the first taste of Big Air World Cup action this season in Chur. In action for Australia will be Valentino Guseli and Josh Robertson-Hahn in the Snowboard event and Cam Waddell for Freeski.
