Pollard podiums with silver at Big White

Sean Pollard has made a big impression when the World Para Snowboard World Cup circuit returned to racing at Big White in Canada, finishing second in the Men's Cross Upper Limb Snowboard race.
After placing seventh earlier in the week in his first Snowboard Cross race, Pollard came back fighting in the gold medal race, only narrowly beaten by winner Maxime Montaggioni from France.
It was the second time this season, and second in World Para Snowboard history, that the discipline saw a four-man race.
Fellow teammate Ben Tudhope, just missed out on the podium in both of his races, placing fourth in his two races but will take confidence from his consistent performances.
Pollard, Tudhope and Patmore now look ahead to their next World Cup stop at La Molina in Spain beginning 4 March and will be aiming for strong form to take into their World Championships later next month.
