Schools out… snow action in!

This week three Interschools ski and snowboard events will swing into action across New South Wales and Victorian ski fields with all the latest results and action available on the new and free Snowracer APP.

As temperatures drop across the southern parts of the country, schools students are making the most of the winter school holidays by hitting the slopes.

No matter which slopes or events students are competing in, the new Snowracer APP allows families and friends to keep track of all the results and action happening right across the country – available free through Apple and Google Play stores.

While students will have the chance to develop their skills and compete for the medals on offer, it will also prove a vital stepping stone for competitors looking to secure a start at the National Interschools Championships at Perisher in September.

South Australian School Snowsports

The annual South Australian Schools Snowsports has kicked off across snowboard and alpine skiing events.

Students from years 1 to 12 will represent their schools right across South Australia when they compete at Mt Buller in a fun environment where they participate and learn what ski and snowboard racing is all about.

South Australian Interschools

For over 25 years, the South Australian Interschools Snowsports Championships has been a hallmark event on the South Australian July school holidays calendar.

Held at Falls Creek and coordinated by the South Australian Snowsports Association, this event encourages and develop participants skiing and snowboarding skills.

Competitors and teams who claim a podium position at this event will qualify for the National Interschools Championships held in early September at Mt Buller.

Travelplan Ski Sydney Interschools Championships

The Travelplan Ski Sydney Interschools Championships is underway for Sydney and surrounding areas schools, following last week’s Northern NSW and Queensland Championships.

Schools from all over Sydney have travelled to Perisher during their last week of school holidays to compete in six disciplines across ski and snowboard.

All students will be vying for a place at the Subaru NSW State Interschools Championships next month.
