Young shredders are invited to big day out in Thredbo, riding with the Olympic gold and silver medallist Torah Bright and her snow pro friends at the Torah Bright Mini Shred.
A highlight on the school holiday calendar, the 9 July Mini Shred is for all intermediate and above riders under the age of 18. It will be a great day out on the boards and skis, where the kids will be picking up tips, jibbing in the park and hanging out with other junior riders.
A special park will be developed for the day with fun kid friendly features. The focus will be on learning new moves whether it is riding, jumping or sliding a box, it will be all about progression with a sweet jib and jump line.
The Mini Shred will be hosted by Torah and will include other snow pro friends who will be on hand for demonstrations and encouragement with a great stash of swag on offer.
“The Mini Shred is my favourite day of the Aussie winter, I love hanging out in the park with the next generation of shredders – to see them progress and get so excited when they stomp a new trick is just the best” said Torah.
Along with Torah there is a roll call of top riders to assist the kids and join in on the fun, snowboarders Ryan Tiene, Jye Kearney, Jess Rich and Zahra Kell, will be on snow with skiers Manuela Berchtold, Tom Waddell, Harrison McInnes and Ryan Cooke.
The day includes a BBQ lunch, signing session with Torah and friends, music and giveaways thanks to Roxy and Rhythm Snow Sports.
