Snow Australia FUTURES updates for the 2023 Season

The chair lifts are open and the snow is ready to welcome the next generation of Aussie ski and snowboarders who are looking to progress through the Snow Australia pathways.
We know many athletes and families are eager for an update on the upcoming FUTURES events, so we’ve pulled all the information you need to know to help plan your trips.
Ski Cross and Snowboard Cross FUTURES
We’re pleased to confirm that the Ski Cross and Snowboard Cross FUTURES is locked in for 14-15 August, 2023 at Mount Hotham.
Registration will be made public on the FUTURES website in the coming weeks.
Para FUTURES
Registrations are now open for the Para FUTURES event, to be held at the National Snowsports Training Centre (NSTC) in Jindabyne, and at Perisher Resort on 19-20 August.
The Snow Australia Para FUTURES is a Talent Identification initiative by Snow Australia with support from Paralympics Australia (PA) and Disabled Wintersport Australia (DWA). The program seeks to provide opportunities for athletes with physical or visual impairments to discover opportunities in the sports of Para Alpine, Para Snowboard and Para Nordic.

Park & Pipe FUTURES
The Park & Pipe FUTURES will take place after the National Interschools Championships in mid-September 2023 at the NSTC and Perisher.
The event will be connected to the Australian Junior Freeride Championships (AJFC), and Slopestyle and Big Air events at Perisher.
We appreciate your patience while the AJFC event dates are confirmed. Once this information is made public, FUTURES dates will be confirmed and registration opened on the FUTURES website
Snowboard Alpine FUTURES
We had such a great response from the Snowboard community after we issued an Expressions of Interest for an inaugural Snowboard Alpine FUTURES event this season.
We will have confirmation by the end of the week on the FUTURES website as to whether this event will go ahead on Saturday 29 July.
We appreciate your patience as we work with Mt Buller Resort and Mt Buller Race Club to plan and confirm this event.
