Alpine Snowboard
Our Alpine Snowboard athletes continued to build their consistency on the world stage in 2023/24.
Millie Bongiorno returned to some of her best form this season, claiming her first Europa Cup podium in almost two years. After a sixth place parallel slalom result in Pamporovo, Bulgaria in January, she returned to the second race the following day and claimed the bronze medal. Millie also raced extensively on the World Cup circuit where she tasted more success in Bulgaria, with an 18th place finish scoring her the best individual World Cup result of her career.
Harvey Edmanson continued to hone his craft in the 2023/24 season, competing in seven World Cup races along with 88 Europa Cups. In January, Harvey scored his best ever Europe Cup result, fourth place in parallel slalom at Folgaria in Italy, before backing it up with an eighth place finish at Pamporovo in Bulgaria later in the month. The results scored him the highest two FIS points results of his career and a 23rd place on the overall Europa Cup standings.
Georgia Brose placed 39th in the World Junior Championship in both the Parallel Giant Slalom and Parallel Slalom events. She also finished 24th in the Nor-Am Cup standings, while Mia Chawner was 28th.
