SSA alpine skiing Memberships

In recent years the National Alpine Committee (NAC) have committed great time and energy into the development of the National Skills Assessment and into physical testing and preparation. 2017 will see continued focus in these areas with the expansion of the National Skills Assessment to increase the Talent Identification (TID) net, and use of the State Institute System (SIS) and Academy of Sport System (SAS) to provide greater consistency and quality of physical testing. 

These are both critically important initiatives and as such, have been included in the SSA Alpine Membership fee structure. The 2017 membership structure has been simplified, with the fee restructured within the National Alpine Committee budget to offer greater value and more inclusions. 

By way of comparison, in 2016 the National Skills Assessment and Physical Testing were separate from the SSA Alpine membership and came at additional costs to athletes and their families.
