SSA Futures Pre-Season Preparation Camp – limited spots remaining

Developing snow-sports athletes have an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season at the SSA Futures Pre-Season Camp to be held at the AIS from 1-2 June.
The SSA Futures Pre-Season Camp aims to prepare snow-sports athletes aged 12-16 for the upcoming season so they can make the most out of their winter training and competitions. The camp integrates the expertise, services and facilities of the AIS to deliver a two-day program targeted at snow-sports athletes from all disciplines. This is a unique opportunity for young athletes to experience the pinnacle of high-performance training at the AIS and learn more about what it takes to become an elite athlete in Australian sport.

Camp Format
The two-day camp has a residential option that includes sessions on; Acrobatics, Goal Setting, Recovery, Nutrition Fundamentals, Injury Prevention, the Athlete Pathway, Coachability, Talent and Skill progression. Parents are encouraged to attend some of the educational sessions with their children on Sunday afternoon.
Who is it for?
Athletes aged 12-16 year of age who are developing snow-sport athletes that wish to enhance their winter training and competition seasons, as well as maximise their opportunities to progress in the performance phases of their athlete pathway.
