Stay tuned to SSA as we bring you exclusive live streaming from the 2017 Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada, Spain, starting Tuesday 8 March AEDT.
In what has already been a stellar season for our Aussie athletes, there’s a high chance for more medals in this week’s World Championships, arguably the biggest event of the season and a key lead up event to the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea next February.
Australian athletes have won 34 medals and two World Cup Championship titles in the 2016-17 season across six difference disciplines. Britt Cox and Scott James dazzling the world with their talent and consistent freestyle performances earning them their World Cup crystal globes, and just as remarkable were performances from the likes of Lydia Lassila, Danielle Scott, Laura Peel, Samantha Wells, Alex Chumpy Pullin, Jarryd Hughes, Belle Brockhoff, Matt Graham, Brodie Summers, Sami-Kennedy Sim, Russ Henshaw in their disciplines.
