SSA offering free programs to primary school children
Ski & Snowboard Australia (SSA) is offering a choice of two free 'off snow' programs for primary school students in Canberra aimed at teaching participants the basics of snowsports, utilising modified equipment built specifically for off snow use.
This is the perfect opportunity for young children to learn how to ski or snowboard before hitting the slopes this winter.
Participants can either sign up to the Little Shredders (Ski & Snowboard) or Little Gliders (Cross Country Skiing) programs.
Both programs involve four lessons (45 minutes per lesson) over four weeks, with each lesson building on the skills previously learned.
*Please note that the sessions are run at the same time so you can only register for either Little Shredders or Little Gliders.
Who Can Register
- Little Shredders (Ski & Snowboard) - Kindergarten to Year 6
- Little Gliders (Cross Country Skiing) - Years 3 to 6
To register for either program you must have a Snow ID which can be obtained by being a SSA member. You can become a Snowracer member for free.
