Moguls are back for their third World Cup stop of the season and the FIS Alpine World Cup Tour has been cancelled in Austria. Take a look at what's coming your way with our weekend watch.

MOGULS RETURN FOR FIRST WORLD CUP OF NEW YEAR

Australia’s Moguls athletes will return to the FIS Freestyle Moguls World Cup circuit this weekend in Calgary, Canada looking to continue their great results from the previous two World Cup events.

With less than a month to go until the 2019 Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships at American Resort Deer Valley, the Moguls team will be looking to hone their final preparations ahead of the major event.

Young gun Jakara Anthony has been a standout performer for Australia at Ruka (Finland) and Thaiwoo (China), achieving fourth place and a silver medal respectively – the first podium finish of her World Cup career.

While in the men’s category, PyeongChang Olympics silver medallist Matt Graham scored a top 8 result in Ruka, with teammate James Matheson grabbing sixth place in China.

WORLD CUP CANCELLED IN AUSTRIA

After warming into her 2018/2019 FIS Alpine World Cup season with events in Switzerland and France, Australian Alpine skier Greta Small will have to wait a little longer to get back on snow in the New Year.

Due to compete in the FIS Alpine World Cup Tour at St. Anton, Austria the Downhill and Super G events have been cancelled.
