Another weekend, another host of Aussie ski and snowboard stars will throw themselves into the international arena looking to start their northern hemisphere season strongly.
MOGUL WORLD CUP ROLLS INTO CHINA
Taking advantage of pre-event training, the Aussies are looking good as the second FIS Freestyle World Cup stop pulls into Thaiwoo, China.
The competition from 15-16 December involves a weekend of moguls and dual moguls racing and Aussies abroad include Britt Cox, Jakara Anthony, Matt Graham, James Matheson and Rohan Chapman-Davies.
EUROPA CUP GETS UNDERWAY IN SWITZERLAND
After Europa Cup competition was cancelled in Pitzal, Austria earlier in the week, team Australia have now moved onto St Moritz, Switzerland for another shot of high-performance racing.
Patrick Jensen and sighted guide Zali Offord, Sam Tait, Tori Pendergast, Melissa Perrine and sighted guide Bobbi Kelly, Mitch Gourley, are all on snow from 13-15 December as they look for form ahead of next week’s first Para Alpine World Cup event.

FIRST TIME BACK FOR PARA ALPINE SKIERS SINCE PYEONGCHANG
The world's best Para alpine skiers will return to the slopes for the first time since the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games when the World Cup season kicks off in Sella Nevea, Italy on Monday 17 December.
At the first of seven World Cups in the 2018-19 season, the Italian resort will host the season-opener after a successful Europa Cup in early 2018.
It will be the perfect time for skiers to get to know the slopes ahead of the 2019 World Championships, with the resort set to host the downhill, super-combined and super G events later next month.
Dual Paralympic bronze medallist Melissa Perrine and sighted guide Bobbi Kelly will headline an Aussie team which includes Sam Tait, Tori Pendergast and Mitch Gourley.
VAL D’ISERE FIS WORLD CUP ALPINE STOP CANCELLED
Greta Small’s schedule Alpine events in the French town of Val d'Isere have been cancelled but quickly rescheduled by FIS.
The original event on 15 December will now be run on 18 and 19 December in Italy, where Small will look to get her best result for the 2018/19 season so far.
DEW TOUR RETURNS TO BRECKENRIDGE
Following on from his golden performance during last weekend’s 2018/19 FIS Snowboard World Cup season opener, Scotty James will return to the American slopes, but this time at the Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Paralympian Ben Tudhope will also be on snow in the annual winter Dew Tour ski and snowboard competition and festival.
