The action is non stop for our Aussie athletes competing overseas with World Cup, World Championship and Europa Cup events all on the horizon. Here's where our ski and snowboard athletes will be around the globe this weekend.
PARA ALPINE SKIERS IN ACTION
Paralympians Mitch Gourley and Melissa Perrine with sighted guide Bobbi Kelly are in Zagreb, Croatia for the World Cup, looking to get some good results under their belt ahead of the 2019 World Para Alpine Skiing Championships.
Perrine and Kelly kicked off the World Cup in sensational fashion to claim silver in the Slalom t.

FIS NORDIC JUNIOR WORLD SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS
Our Aussie athletes are preparing for 2019 FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Finland that gets underway from 19-26 January.
Under the guidance of four Aussie coaches, the nation's up and coming Nordic skiers will compete across 13 events over seven days of competition. More news to follow about our Aussie team competing and how preparations are going.

SCOTTY JAMES HOT FAVOURITE AT LAAX OPEN
One of the biggest weekends of the 2018/19 FIS Snowboard Park & Pipe World Cup competition season has arrived, with athletes descending upon Laax in Switzerland for the next FIS Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup.
Scotty James and Kent Callister will represent Australia, with James heading into the event a hot favourite after taking out the World Cup opener as well as the recent Dew Tour.

AERIALS WORLD CUP JUMPING INTO 2019
Three of Australia’s strongest skiers line up at Lake Placid, USA for the FIS Freestyle Aerials World Cup on Saturday 19 January.
Laura Peel, Britt George, Abbey Wilcox have been training at the Utah Olympic Park in preparation for the World Cup event and will be keen to put practice into action.

STRONG AUSSIE FIELD AT SBX EUROPA CUP
The Europa Cup Snowboard Cross races will take place in German town Grasgehren and with up to 16 Aussies on snow there will be action everywhere you look.

GRETA SMALL HITS THE SLOPES AGAIN
With two Downhill events and a Super G race, Small will begin her competition in on the Italian slopes of Cortina d’Ampezzo from 18 January.

IDRE FJALL WELCOMES SKI CROSS ATHLETES
With qualifications for the FIS Alpine Ski Cross World Cup in Idre Fjall beginning 18 January and races to start over the weekend, be sure to keep your eyes on Sami Kennedy-Sim as she puts her best foot forward in Sweden.
