THREE MEDALS FOR AUSSIES AT PARA SNOWBOARD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Paralympians Simon Patmore, Sean Pollard and Ben Tudhope each competed in a Banked Slalom and Snowboard Cross race with all three saving their best until last, appearing on the podium after Saturday's Snowboard Cross events.

The Para Snowboard show will be back on snow from 3 April at Klövsjö for the last World Cup of the season.

AUSSIE FIRST AT FIS SKI CROSS AND SNOWBOARD CROSS JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Thursday, Doug Crawford collected Australia's first ever medal in the FIS Junior Ski Cross World Championships with his bronze medal effort in Austria.

TWO WORLD CUP DEBUTS IN SWITZERLAND

In their Ski Slopestyle World Cup debuts Cameron Waddell and Nicholas Payne have gained invaluable international experience against athletes from around the world as part of the event in Silvaplana, Switzerland.

in their qualification runs, both Australian men were impressive and finished 16th (Waddell) and 17th (Payne) respectively in their heats.

During the finals on Sunday, Waddell finished 43rd overall, while Payne claimed 46th place.

EUROPA CUP SNOWBOARD SLOPESTYLE

Matt Cox has posted two impressive results as part of his Europa Cup races in Livigno, Italy.

On Thursday Cox narrowly missed out on the podium in a hotly contested field placing fourth. Click here for results.

But on Friday he returned to the Italian slopes and went two better grabbing a silver medal in a race where the standard was extremely high. Click here for results.

WORLD ROOKIE TOUR FINALS

Australia's next generation of snowboard competitors were in Austria competing in the World Rookie Tour Finals with and the group put in strong performances across the board.
