Flying Kangaroo aerial skier Laura Peel headlined a weekend of solid results from our Aussie riders around the globe with her World Cup silver medal.

PEEL SOARS TO GRAB SILVER IN MOSCOW

After narrowly missing out on a podium finish at the recent FIS World Championship in Utah, Laura Peel has regrouped and overcome that disappointment to finish with a silver medal at the FIS Freestyle World Cup in Moscow, Russia.

After the second World Cup of the season, Peel currently sits in fourth place on the Ladies’ Aerials discipline standings. Three events remain in the 2018/19 season, with the next competition to be held 23 February in Minsk, Belarus.

FIS ALPINE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS WRAPS UP

Aussies Harry Laidlaw and Alec Scott have concluded their 2019 FIS Alpine World Championships over the weekend in Are, Sweden in the Men’s Giant Slalom and Slalom events.

CALLISTER GRABS TOP 10 IN CALGARY

Australian snowboard riders Kent Callister and Emily Arthur were on show in the next FIS Snowboard World Cup event competing under lights at Canada Olympic Park.

Fellow teammate and triple World Champion Scotty James is in third place on the Men’s Snowboard Halfpipe discipline standings with one event remaining on 9 March at Mammoth Mountain, USA.

KENNEDY SIM REACHES SEMI FINALS IN FELDBERG
