SSA Weekend Wrap | 15 April

Australian junior Park & Pipe riders competed in the last of their Junior World Championships events in Sweden, while closer to home Australian XC and Rollerski athletes were out in force contesting the national Rollerski Championships.

NATIONAL ROLLERSKI CHAMPS DECIDED

Stromlo Forest in Australia's capital city was the site for the 2019 Australian Rollerski Championships as well as the 2018/19 Australian XC Awards evening on Saturday.

Darcie Morton collected national titles for both the Open Women's Sprint and Criterium within the same day.

FIS PARK & PIPE JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRAPS UP

The 2019 FIS Park & Pipe Junior World Championships have wrapped up in Sweden with 12 Aussies proudly representing their nation across Slopestyle and Big Air events.

Mia Rennie narrowly missed out on lining up in her Ladies Ski Big Air finals by one place, while Australia was well represented across all four events over the weekend.

SSA AWARDS NIGHT IS FAST APPROACHING

Buy your tickets for the 2019 Australian Ski and Snowboard Awards on 1 May which promises to be an exciting night evening celebrating the achievements of our wintersport athletes during the past 12 months with this year highlighting the performances from the World Championships.
