Ben Tudhope has added yet another accolade to his 2019 achievements, taking out second place in the first Para World Cup in the northern winter in the Netherlands overnight.

The two-day competition – held at SnowWorld Landgraaf, an impressive indoor facility – commenced the 2019-20 World Para Snowboard World Cup season.

After his first banked slalom run, Tudhope was ranked 18th overall.

In his second run, he knocked an impressive 12.25 seconds off his first effort and sky-rocketed himself into first place.

Unfortunately, Finnish rival Matti Suur-Hamari better Tudhope’s time, resulting in a second place finish overall in the Lower Limb category.

Fellow Aussie Sean Pollard competed in the Upper Limb category and finished seventh overall at the end of the two-day competition.
