Vale Peter Brockhoff (1936–2025)
Two-time Winter Olympian and Snow Australia Medalist Peter Brockhoff has passed away at the age of 88.
Born in Melbourne, Victoria, Peter represented Australia in Alpine skiing at the Squaw Valley 1960 and Innsbruck 1964 Olympic Winter Games. A proud pioneer in Australia’s early Winter Olympic history, he competed with determination and grace across multiple disciplines.
Peter’s Olympic legacy lives on through his niece, Belle Brockhoff, also a dual Olympian in Snowboard Cross.
A trailblazer and beloved member of the Australian winter sports community, Peter’s contribution to our sporting history will not be forgotten.
