Snow Australia secures streaming rights for FIS Freestyle & Snowboard World Championships

Published Wed 10 Feb 2021

Following the cancellation of the FIS Freestyle & Snowboard World Championships in China, FIS has worked closely with a number of organisers to secure venues for each of the events which have now been confirmed.

Overnight, FIS have confirmed that Aspen, Colorado, will host the 2021 FIS Snowboard and Freeski World Championships. This follows announcements in recent days that the Ski and Snowboard Cross World Championships will take place in Idre, Sweden and the Moguls/Aerials World Champs in Almaty, Kazakstahn.

In an exciting breakthrough for Australian fans, Snow Australia has secured exclusive live streaming rights for the FIS Snowboard and FIS Freestyle World Championships finals across all three venues.

The immediate focus will be on the Snowboard Cross team: Belle Brockhoff, Adam Lambert, Adam Dickson and Jarryd Hughes who have all qualified for Thursday’s finals in Idre Fjall at the FIS Snowboard Cross World Championships.

Details and links to each event will be made available by FIS’ broadcast partners on the Snow Australia website at snow.org.au/live. These links are provided within 24 hours of the event so please be sure to bookmark the page and check back regularly as information for each event becomes available.
