SSA FUTURES NEWS

That time of year is upon us again.  As Summer cools down, our planning for Winter starts to heat up!

Here at SSA we want your help in planning for another season of SSA Futures. 

For those of you that may be unaware, SSA Futures is an athlete development and talent identification initiative that creates a space for young athletes to transition into the more elite phases of the sport. 

It’s a great opportunity for kids to come together and learn more about the opportunities our sport has to offer.  You can find out more about SSA Futures here.

SSA Futures has been a staple of the athlete pathway for years.  But in 2019 we want to make it bigger and better than ever!

Our first order of business is to bring back the Pre-Season Futures Sessions in the April School Holidays.  We want athletes from all disciplines to participate in this initiative.  The focus will be on learning fundamental physical literacy and acrobatic skills that provide the building blocks for faster and safer skills progression in all sports.  It will also be a great chance for kids to learn about the athlete pathway, plan for the season ahead, meet new people and most importantly have some fun.
