Abi Harrigan has won silver in both the Halfpipe and Big Air events at the Davos Europa Cup over the weekend.
The two silver medals add to a stellar 2020 for the rising star, who also formed part of the Australian team who competed for Australia at the recent Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games.
The 17-year-old who hails from Jindabyne, came up trumps on day one in the Big Air among a strong field, before backing it up on day two to win a second silver medal in the Halfpipe.
“This was my first Europa Cup so I’m super happy with the results,” Harrigan said.
“It was a bit of a different jump (Big Air) but I worked with it, and the pipe was super fun,” Harrigan said.
The NSWIS athlete will now travel with her teammates to Switzerland where they’ll prepare for the next event.
“We’ve got the Laax Europa Cup coming up next and then the World Rookie Tour,” Harrigan said.
“We’ll be training in Laax in the lead up, which will be good. But I’ll just be trying to get some new tricks down before I compete again,” she said.
