Snow Australia Women of Winter champions and empowers snowsports women to reach their full potential. The program facilitates an environment of support through professional development, training, networking opportunities, leading to an increase of women participating, working and volunteering in the Snowsports Industry. The program is aimed to encourage and support women in building long-term paid and volunteer careers, advancing into leadership roles, making a lasting impact in our industry.
women of winter working groupSnow Australia is proud to announce the formation of the Women of Winter (WoW) – Working Group, a key initiative aimed at fostering engagement, support, and empowerment for women in snowsports. The Working Group will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and operations to enhance women’s participation in snowsports. Through the development and execution of a targeted strategic plan, the group will foster connections, create opportunities, and drive meaningful growth across the industry. |

In 2024, a series on Women in Winter Networking evenings in Jindabyne, Falls Creek, and Hotham, attracting 155 attendees.
The events aimed to promote and support the presence of women within the snow industry and while also raising awareness about various career paths available. It was a great opportunity for women to create new connections within the industry.
